Saya pertama kali mendengar “I Wish We’d All Been Ready” di awal tahun 70an dan belum pernah mendengarnya lagi sejak itu. Saya tidak pernah berpikir untuk merekam lagu itu, tetapi pesannya tetap ada di hati saya selama bertahun-tahun. Saat memilih materi untuk Count Me In, saya bertanya kepada produser kami apakah dia ingat lagu ini. Tanpa menghela nafas, ia meluncurkan intro di keyboardnya, karena liriknya berasal dari ingatan… I Wish We’d All Been Ready kini telah sepenuhnya diorkestrasi, dan direkam di album terbaru ini.
